Our Graphic Design Work for Las Medialunas del Abuelo Miami

At Mr Urbina, we are proud to present our recent work for Las Medialunas del Abuelo, an iconic Argentine brand, specifically for their Miami branch.

This project, carried out prior to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, allowed us to merge traditional Argentine warmth with the vibrant atmosphere of Miami, creating a unique visual identity for their social media platforms.

Our goal was to create visual content that not only informed potential customers about their delicious offerings but also evoked the warmth and nostalgia associated with Las Medialunas del Abuelo.

We utilized a color palette that reflects the brand’s identity, incorporating warm tones and inviting hues. This approach helped to evoke the homely and comforting feeling that Las Medialunas del Abuelo is known for. Our choice of typography was crucial in maintaining the brand’s traditional yet contemporary feel. We opted for elegant, clear fonts that ensured the message was easily readable and visually appealing. The composition of each piece was thoughtfully balanced, harmonizing text and imagery to facilitate easy visual navigation and retention.

We selected high-quality images that showcased the mouth-watering medialunas and other baked goods. These visuals were designed to not only attract but also to evoke a sense of longing and nostalgia, making the viewer feel connected to the authentic Argentine experience, even in Miami. Each piece of content delivered a clear and direct message. From highlighting the authenticity of the recipes and the quality of the ingredients to emphasizing the cozy ambiance of the Miami branch, our designs effectively communicated these key aspects. This approach helped to build trust and credibility among potential customers.

Our work included highlighting the freshness of their “Del Abuelo Salad”, prominently featuring the brand to reinforce its identity, and informing customers about their move from food trucks to a permanent location in North Miami Beach. Engaging content was also created, such as daring customers to eat only one empanada, showcasing their irresistible taste, and highlighting mid-afternoon delights like medialunas, pizzas, empanadas, milanesas, and desserts. Additionally, we captured the excitement and anticipation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, associating the brand with the joy of football and communal celebrations.

Our work for Las Medialunas del Abuelo in Miami is a testament to our ability to capture the essence of a brand and translate it into compelling visual content. By blending traditional Argentine elements with a modern touch, we have created a series of graphics that are not only informative but also emotionally resonant.
