On September 11th, the Dell® Tech Forum took place in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, an event where clients and partners get in touch with the latest advancements and official launches made by the company once a year.
An incredible experience with the best in the field. Led by their President for Latin America, Diego Majdalani, and their General Manager, Guido Ipszman, who, along with their team of professionals, provided a demonstration showcasing the level at which the technology giant operates.
Our company, represented by our CEO Carlos Urbina, was present. We have been #DellFans for over 12 years, and many of our systems, such as our servers, are Dell® brand. We always envision growing alongside their products, where their excellence is directly linked to the efficiency they offer, which supports us as an organization in commercializing our hosting services.
We spoke with our CEO about this experience, and he responded:
What level of progress did you notice compared to previous editions?
It’s Dell®, and they take innovation very seriously. It’s a fact that innovation has made them one of the top technology providers in the world, and I could see they are making giant strides in advancements, with devices that are more efficient not only in performance but also in ergonomics.
Which presentation had the most impact on you?
I learned something valuable from all of them. I took notes on advice and observations from people with many more years of experience. But from the presentation by the President of TELECOM, Carlos Alberto Moltini, I took away the idea that we need to focus more on efficiency and production. We must remember that as we invest more money in modernizing to provide better service, the client wants to pay less, and this is resolved by selling more. From Santiago Bilinkis’s masterful presentation, I learned valuable tips that are applicable to our sales and development strategies. These included advice on reducing our website’s bounce rate and understanding the reality that big tech companies need us to be more addicted to their devices to continue growing.
How interesting were the attractions presented by Dell® and their partners?
To understand what I saw, you need to grasp the purpose of the event. Many might expect to see flying robots or levitating electric cars, but that’s not the mission. As companies, it doesn’t serve us to see flying cars just yet, if you understand what I mean. The point is to see specific advancements that help us increase our efficiency levels.
At Dell’s® official stand, I saw the latest equipment, which, for all of us tech enthusiasts, is like going to an amusement park. These exhibitions are essential for guiding our purchasing decisions, and I left the event with the conviction to acquire some of the equipment I had contact with soon.
At Mr Urbina®, we are committed to growth, which is why we will always continue to move toward knowledge and learning.
